New features and changes in today's beta: The Live PLOG has been completely redesigned to include relevant live information in all sections The PLOG now supports user-interactive removal and insertion of waypoints The PLOG has been reworked to scale better to page and screen sizes Obviously the most significant thing here (for Android) is the inclusion of Live PLOG functionality. Once you're flying (or in simulate mode) you'll see the PLOG changes significantly, with a different selection of columns and live flight timings shown. The comm and nav frequency sections are also updated to be live. Feedback most welcome.

Hi, The new log is way more interesting, especially as an Android user. Some remarks: - The progression bar is a really nice idea! - The "view in browser" menu generates a HTML file ... with a .pdf extension - I really miss a "blank column" option. I always print my logs (just in case) and It's nice being able to write some notes somewhere. That's all for now! Thanks M

Ok, PLOG is very interesting, but now I cannot be able to run safe terrain. The terrain safe flag is switched on in simulation mode. There are possible program user settings that can cause this problem? Nexus 7 android 4.4.4 and last SD beta version. Tanks for any information on the matter. Angelo

Hi Tim,
great work as ever. ;-)) Thanks
Some brief annotations
- Simulator Mode - little yellow plane refuses to land ! - Simulator Mode - No log time recording e.g. Log Start/Takoff/Landing/Log Stop - PLOG - time format in brackets - what do you think about Hours:Min instead of Min only - PLOG - Question "View in Browser" what for ?? - PLOG - Crash to desktop here & there while zooming and/or adding/removing columns - PLOG - Mulitleg shows both legs & only alternate of last leg - intended ? - PLOG - quick access button/shortcut - last leg to airport showed airport information page - now it shows the PLOG always - intended?

Dear Tim, nearly perfect the PLOG for Android! Actually I can report a reproducable problem with it following the steps below: 1) Open an existing route from the cloud 2) Starting the Simulator Mode 3) Switching several times between the PLOG and the chart schreen 4) Stopping the Simulator Mode 5) From the Route menue select 'Start new' 6) Program crashes to the desktop
I have tried this with Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 7 2013 LTE, both with Android 4.4.4 and the latest beta of SD. Hope I could help

Thanks all for the feedback. 1. The bug described above... thanks, we reproduced and fixed this. 2. The simulator cannot really be landed, and it always starts at full flying speed, so you can't really test the flight logging functionality that is dependent of takeoff in the sim. 3. Nothing has changed regarding TerrainSafe, it should continue to work fine. If this isn't the case, please let us know with some detail. 4. View in Browser is there because some people want to print the PLOG, and SkyDemon cannot support printing because Android only introduced printing in version 4.4 (and we can't make everyone upgade to that version). View in Browser will open the PLOG in the browser, which will support printing if configured. 5. Multileg... could you clarify Mike? The PLOG should only ever show you the current sector of any multi-sector route. 6. We have removed the multi-purpose functionality of the quick access shorcut where it would sometimes show the PLOG and sometimes the airfield info. It now only shows the PLOG.

View in Browser doesn´t work, because I do not get my browser or acrobat viewer as an option - only the android html viewer , from which I cannot print though. I assume the output file is /sdcard/SkyDemonOutput.pdf, but I can´t open it because system tells me it is "no valid pdf document". 5. Multileg... could you clarify Mike? I opened a already localy stored multileg route and it showed both legs within the same PLOG. I deleted it & made it again, now it´s working fine. -mike

About safe terrain I can only say that the first day I installed 3.1.1 version it well worked, b ut the day after no. Now I have last beta version and still terrain safe does not work. The terrain safe box is correctly green checked.... It is possible that hide feature settings can influence terrain safe? Eventually can tell me standard settings? Nexus 7 2013 android 4.4.4 version SD 24 ott beta version

TerrainSafe only depends upon the setting being checked, and you being in navigation mode. Nothing else. Try reinstalling SkyDemon to make sure no other settings are interfering with it (though I don't see how they could be) and let us know. Mike, the incorrect extension was probably responsible for that, which has been fixed ready for the next beta.
